Pyotr Sizov was born in Voronezh and graduated there from the Rostropovich Music School and Voronezh State Pedagogical University.

In 2006, Sizov received a diploma at an international competition of vocalists in St. Petersburg.

In 2007 he becomes a soloist at the Voronezh State Theater of Opera and Ballet.

In 2008, he entered the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre, where he sung Lykov in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride, Lensky and Triquet in Tchaikovsky’s «Eugene Onegin», Vaudemont, Almerik in Tchaikovsky’s «Iolanta», Romendado in Bizet’s «Carmen» and Shuysky, Yurodiviy and Pretender parts in Mussorgsky’s «Boris Godunov».

In year 2008-2009, Sizov took part in the «New Wanderers» festival of music and theater in Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok and, in 2010, in the project «The People’s War begins…,» in honor of the 65th anniversary of victory in World War II.

He took part in the master-classes by Mauro Trombetta (2009), Maestro Mikhail Jurowski (2012), Maestro Sherrill Milnes (2012),  Domingo-Thornton Young Artists Program (under LA Opera) coaches.

In 2016 took part at the VII International Festival Star parade in Krasnoyarsk, performed the part of Vaudemont in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta during the I International Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Festival in Sochi, performed the part of Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni in Boguslav Martinu Philharmonics in Zlyn (Czech Republic).

In 2010, attended the Summer Academy in Sandefjord (Norway), where he performed as Ferrando in Mozart’s «Cosi fan tutte» and Don Ottavio in Mozart’s «Don Giovanni». ( Maestro Marc Soustrot, sir Jonathan Miller)

In year 2011 he took part in Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg Festival (Germany).
