«The several years prize-winners of the Galina Vishnevskaya Competition (some of them – her students) have performed in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. Galina Pavlovna was devoted to art. Music has literally saturated her whole life. Thus, a concert of her students, her prize-winners, is the best tribute to the great singer», – has spoken of the concert Olga Rostropovich, the Opera Centre’s artistic director and Competition head of the Jury.
The gala concert in Moscow has become the first one in a prize-winners’ grand tour in Russian major cities such as St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, which will take place this season.
