On June 25, 2013 – 16 young singers have finished their studies at the Opera Centre and were presented with graduation diplomas during a festive ceremony:
Alexander Aliev, Leonid Bakhtalin, Yulia Bychkova, Maria Gulik, Daria Ermolenko, Marina Zyabina, Tatiana Makarchuk, Tatiana Nikityuk, Maxim Osokin, Irina Polovinkina, Vladislav Popov, Dilyafruz Sabitova, Nikolay Semenov, Albina Fayruzova, Miroslava Flyorchak, Azamat Tsaliti.
This is the first graduation without Galina Pavlovna Vishnevskaya, but each of the students remembers her lessons with gratitude and love – not only vocal training, but lessons of life too. Olga Rostropovich, the Artistic Director, and Elena Oparkova, the Director, have warmly congratulated the graduates, wishing them artistic fortune; then, they thanked the tutors and the whole team of the Centre for their work. “Do not forget, that here is your home, the place, where you are loved and will always get help. That was established by Galina Pavlovna, who is here with us now, and it shall be so forever,” – said Elena Oparkova.
During their studies, the young singers have participated in the following opera productions: ‘Eugene Onegin’ by Tchaikovsky, ‘Boris Godunov’ by Mussorgsky, ‘Rigoletto’ by Verdi and in many other Centre’s concerts and performances. They shared with touching memories about the years of spent in the Centre, thanked their pedagogues, accompanists and management.
On June 27 and 28 the selection auditions will be held, and the jury leaded by Olga Rostropovich will chose the new Opera Centre’s students.
