Following the well-established tradition on the 1st of June, on the International Child Protection Day, the Opera Centre has held the charitable concert. The guests of this concert were the children from the foster families from the Moscow Region. The participants of the concert – the soloists of the Opera Centre and Mstislav Rostropovich Foundation – presented the special musical and vocal program. The concert performances were followed by the detailed comments as many children listened to the classical music and opera for the first time in their life. «Iolanta» and «Eugene Onegin», «Snow Maiden» and «Tale about Tsar Saltan», «Queen of spades» and «Nutcracker» – unknown and wonderful world, the first meeting with which took place exactly here, on the stage of Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre. After the concert the children regaled themselves with tasty ice cream provided by the company «Vita-Prestige». The distinguished guests of the concert were vice-chairman of the Moscow government S. Koshman and the Minister of education of the Moscow Region L. Antonova.
