Two tours have been opened a new study year in Opera Centre. 12 and 13 September, gala concerts in Vladivostok in the frame of International cinema Festival “Meridians of Pacific” had great success and then young soloists took participation in International Festival in Beaulieu – sur – Mer. Program of the concert, which was held in one of the most finest concert halls on the south of France – Sallon Belle Epoqe, included romances and arias from operas Verdi, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Rakhmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov. Audience warmly accepted T. Metlina, O. Kornievskaya, U. Baranov, G. Protsenko, A. Tihomirov. This performance drew much attention of European musical community and culture workers of France. Among guests were director of Toulon Opera Theatre, artistic director of Nice Opera Theatre and director of Opera Theatre in Monte Carlo. Interest to Russian art and high level of Festival are proved by the fact that despite of young singers – soloists of Opera Centre, Russia was presented by Borodin State Quartet. In particular, Festival in Beaulieu – sur – Mer was devoted to two festive dates – to 60th anniversary of illustrious Quartet and 80th anniversary of its founder Valentin Berlinsky.
