20 June 2005, Gala concert will take place with participation of new graduates of the Opera Centre. Five apprentices of Galina Vishnevskaya are finishing their two-year study. Premiers and debuts, participation in the opera productions, numerous concerts and tours are behind. On May 31 Olga Alekseeva and Natalia Bobrova made their successful debut in the opera “The Tsar’s bride” by N. Rimsky-Korsakov, that already has became a part of Centre’s repertoire.
In this season Natalia Levitina remained in public memory by her original Vampuka in the same name opera – parody by V. Erenberg and Saburovoi in the “Tsar’s bride”; Agunda Kulaeva – by her splendid Magdalene in the season premiere of “Rigoletto” by G. Verdi; Nikolai Anisimov – by participation in chamber and thematic concerts. Gala concert program includes scenes from Ch. Gounod opera “Faust” and P. Tchaikovsky opera “Queen of Spades”. Galina Vishnevskaya will present the diplomas to her apprentices during the solemn ceremony on June 23.
