On November 13 at the Opera center took place a concert from the series of musical evenings “Teacher and his students”, traditionally gathering on stage the best students of one of the tutors of the Opera Center. This time his class presented the honored artist of Russia Professor Badri Maisuradze, who educated a whole group of talented young singers.
The evening opened with a performance by Badri Maisuradze himself, who devoted Arioso of Hermann from the “Queen of spades” to the founder of the Opera center, the great Russian singer Galina Vishnevskaya. The concert was attended by graduates of the Centre, now successfully singing in the greatest theatres of Russia and abroad: Elchin Azizov, Vera Azikova, Alexandr Aliev, Evgenia Weckert, Andrey Dudin, Inna Zvenyatskaya, Leonid Kuchumov, Vyacheslav Leontiev, Alexandr Markeev, Ekaterina Mironycheva, Irina Moreva, E. Nekrasova, Vladislav Popov, and the students Valeria Lagodyr, Albina Latipova, Kuzma Rybalkin, Yekaterina Savinkova.
The concert was held in a wonderfully joyful and light atmosphere, also November 13 is the birthday of Badri Maisuradze, favorite teacher of all his students. At the end of the evening to the sounds of Brindisi from “La Traviata” in the hall flew multi-colored balloons, and the artists and the audience sang “Happy birthday”.
Next evening from the cycle “Teacher and his students” – on December 26th, their students will present Professor Elena Zaremba.
