Alla Basargina graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of professor Merzhanov).
Since 1968 she worked as accompanist at the Bolshoi theatre and as a soloist of the “Sextet of the Bolshoi Theatre orchestra”chamber ensemble.
During her artistic career she has worked with such eminent masters as conductors Mstislav Rostropovich, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Yevgeni Svetlanov,Alexander Lazarev, Yuri Simonov, Odysseas Dimitriadi, Mark Ermler, Mikhail and Vladimir Jurowski, Alexander Vedernikov, stage directors Boris Pokrovsky, Pyotr Ustinov, Dmitry Bertman, soloists Galina Vishnevskaya, Irina Arkhipova, Elena Obraztsova,Yevgeny Nesterenko, Tamara Milashkina, Vladimir Atlantov, Zurab Sotkilava, Arthur Eisen and others.
Alla Basargina has toured to Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Greece, Great Britain (Edinburgh festival), Japan, USA, Korea, Vietnam, Turkey, Mongolia, Latin America, countries of Africa. Since year 2002 Alla Basargina has been an accompanist at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre.
