Ekaterina was born in Kazan.
In 1999 she graduated from Kazan Zhiganov State Conservatory (Stolov’s class); in 2002 she completed her post-graduate studies at the Kazan State Conservatory with a degree in Chamber Ensemble and Accompaniment skills (classes by Kaplun, Sokolskaya).
In 1999 – 2006 she worked as a concertmaster at the Department of Vocal Arts at Kazan State Conservatory.
In 2006 – 2011– concertmaster of the Academic Singing Department at the Alfred Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music.
Since year 2008 – Ekaterina is a concertmaster at Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre, where she has participated in the production of Shostakovich’s operas ‘The Gamblers’ and ‘The Great Lightning’ (conductor Dmitri Jurowski). She has participated in master classes by Galina Vishnevskaya, Mauro Trombetta, Alexandrina Milcheva, Michail Jurowski.
Ekaterina holds diplomas as the best accompanist of the “Young talents of Mari El” contest (2001), VII Regional Saydashev Vocal Competition (2004), II International Shakirov Competition of Tatar Song (Kazan, 2005), the Russian Piano Guild for the preparation of the participant of the I International Lisitsian Competition for baritones (Moscow, 2008), the International Christmas Festival-Competition “The Shining Star” (St. Petersburg, 2009), V Byulbyul International Vocalist Competition (Baku, 2010).
She’s also a prize-winner of the International Competition “XXI Century Art” (Ukraine, 1999), International Competition “Hope. Talents. Masters” (Bulgaria, 2001), International Competition “Art and Education of the XXI century” in her category (Finland, 2006).
