The II round of the Galina Vishnevskaya IX International Opera Artists Competition was held at the Opera Centre on June 14. After the deliberation, the Chairlady of the jury – Olga Rostropovich, announced the finalists names.

The III round of the Galina Vishnevskaya IX International Opera Artists Competition will take place on June 16 at the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia, New Stage. The contestants shall perform two arias or scenes from operas. After a deliberation, the jury will announce the names of the Competition laureates and diploma winners, as well as the winners of special prizes. During the break, the audience will have a chance to choose the winner of an Audience Appreciation prize by voting.
