On October 8, the II round of the Galina Vishnevskaya VIII International Opera Singers Competition took place at the Opera Centre.
The results of the Jury deliberation were announced by its chairlady Olga Rostropovich.

The III round of the Galina Vishnevskaya VIII International Opera Singers Competition will be held on October 10 at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre.
The contestants shall perform two arias or scenes from operas.
After that, the jury will announce the names of laureates and winners of the Competition, as well as holders of special prizes.
During the break, the audience may vote for the singer who will receive an Audience appreciation prize.
