31st May the presentation of the first CD featuring Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre’s soloists took place.
The album presents scenes from the first Centre’s staging – opera by M. Glinka “Ruslan and Ludmila”, and fragments from opera by Ch. Gounod “Faust”, the premiere of which took place in May last year.
Director of Opera Centre Elena Oporkova had a speech about this great work that opened the cycle of pre-arranged sound-recording projects. CD release took place owning to collaboration with company Russian Business Travel. Artistic director of the Centre Galina Vishnevskaya especially stressed the necessity of supporting maecenases in realizing such projects,
having applied to the direction of the company with thanks words.
