One of the world’s premier mimes, Anatoly Yelizariov, recently unveiled his all-new Jubilee – 03 programme at the Vishvevskaya Opera Centre. The whole presentation builds around the Confession show featuring excerpts from Elisir d’Amore by G. Donizetti, blues by O. Benson and L. Armstrong, all staged and produced by Yelizarov whom critics have dubbed “the Russian Marcel Marceau”. Opening this one-man-show was an anniversary prelude of heartfelt congratulations from friends, students and colleagues, funny gags and hilarious pantomime along with video footage runs of Anatoly Yelizarov’s earlier concerts.
