On the eve of the new concert-theatre season in Opera Centre of Galina Vishnevskaya the opera of Rimsky-Korsakov “The Tsar’s fiancee” is being rehearsed. The performance is managed by Galina Vishnevskaya and a young and gifted producer from Yugoslavia Ivan Popovski, follower of Petr Fomenko. Uri Baranov, Aleksander Kasianov, Oksana Kornievskaya, Pavel Paremusov, Vladimir Baikov,Oksana Lesnichaya, Marina Poplavskaya and some other leading solists of Opera center will take part in the performance.
One of the most important events which took place during the period of rehearsals was masterclass of Mstislav Rostropovich, which was specially dedicated to coming in October premier.
It is already the second performance on the stage of Opera centre for the year which passed since the day of inauguration, 1 September 2002. In January the students of Galina Vishnevskaya had some kind of examination, performing in “Ruslan and Ludmila” of M.Glinka.
