On December 26, so to speak “by the curtain” of the year, as a part of the cycle “The master and his students” her class presented the professor of the Opera Centre, Grammy winner Elena Zaremba. Musical evenings, in which the Center gathers the best students of a teacher, traditionally held in a special atmosphere – warm, trusting, friendly, and at this time – at the New year’s eve. Before the concert Elena Zaremba heartily congratulated the audience and said a few words about her disciples, many of whom are just beginning their stage career. In the first part have performed A. Abramov, E. Vlasova, S. Efimov, Yulia Kuleba, D. Nikiforenko, V. Snigireva, Michail Biryukov, Denis Velev, Evgeniy Shcherbakov. In the second part the soloist was the brilliant Elena Zaremba, who prepared an exquisite program of works by French composers Henri Duparc, Gabriel Fauré, Charles Gounod. A special note sounded Six romances by Pyotr Tchaikovsky on the poems of French poets, which Elena Zaremba performed for the first time. At the end of the program “encore” the singer with all his disciples sang a Francis Poulenc’s “Road of love”. Accompanied this evening was by the permanent accompanist of the singer, laureate of international competitions Antonina Kadobnova. The concert was attended by Alexander Smirnov ( trumpet).
