The graduates of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre who have finished their education in year 2016, performed in a concert on June 27th.
Each of the twelve young soloists has shown talent and mastery acquired through the years of study. The diploma handing ceremony took place the next day – on June 28th. Olga Rostropovich, the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre’s Artistic Director, together with the tutors and the professors, has wished the graduates professional growth, success, and prosperous, exciting engagements.
Each of the students has sincerely thanked their mentors, accompanists, stage partners. Many of the yesterday’s students have already received offers from the major Russian and foreign theaters: Anna Bondarevskaya has become a soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, Stanislav Lee – at Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre, Alyona Abramova has been invited to Bayerische Staatsoper to continue her tuition and take part in productions.
The graduates do not part with the Centre, which in accordance with a long established tradition had truly become a second home to them and where they are always welcome, loved and awaited to take part in concerts and performances.
